Illustrated profusely with plates and vignettes this interesting edition of Boccaccio's frame story of one hundred seperate tales comes as part of a limitedprinting of 1000 of which this is number 847. Contains the bookplate of one George Duff Jnr of Wimbledon. Condition: In decorative cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally quite smart there is some wear to the boards joints extremities and backstrip with some sunning to backstrip strain to hinges andmarkings to boards. A little offsetting from the custom endpapers a thick obviously hand-made paper touch of foxing to the first title page contents otherwise very clean.
