It was first published in 1910 and considered an important early 20th-century translation. This second edition contains a lengthy new life of Cervantes with notes and appendices the life of Cervantes was also published separately as a stand alone book. Cervantes' classic tale of the deranged gentleman who turns knight-errant tilts at windmills and battles with sheep in the service of the lady of his dreams Dulcinea del Toboso. Condition: Good. There is some mottling marking and bumping to the blue cloth and tanning to the page edges. Some pages uncut ie unopened along the top edge and some have been opened a little hastily.
