‎7 volumes brochés, certains dos fragiles ou cassé, légères déchirures aux couvertures sans manques ; Auguste Fontaine fonda la librairie du passage des panoramas, "il crée, en France, ce qu'on peut nommer la librairie de luxe ou l'industrie des beaux livres" : selon le bibliophile Jacob qui préfaça 4 de ces importants catalogues (1872-1874-1877 et 1878-79) ; il était ainsi considéré comme le libraire ordinaire des bibliophiles de la finance et de l'aristocratie ; Les catalogues de 1870-1872-1873 décrivent 10000 numéros ; 2716 pour 1874 ; 2477 pour 1875 (avec une importante table alphabétique) ; 1862 pour 1877 (table) ; 1630 pour 1878-79 (table) ; Jusqu'en 1874, le classement est alphabéthique, puis il devient ensuite systématique ; Important ensemble, d'un choix d'ouvrages impressionant décrit minutieusement ; volumes ayant été manipulé, certains ne sont pas coupé entièrement, quelques rousseurs sont à signaler, il manque la couverture du 3ème catalogue‎

Jacob (Paul Lacroix, Le bibliophile Jacob) sur les catalogues et les bibliophiles contemporains. 1862 numéros, table des divisions d'après la table de Blanchet, table alphabétique des auteurs et des ouvrages anonymes. Reliure moderne, pleine toile grise, titre doré sur pièce au dos, la page de titre est une photocopie, petites rousseurs et poussière à la première page et à la table analytique.‎
