This is a very good or better hardcover copy without dust jacket as issued. Signed and briefly inscribed by the author, Gunter Eisenhut, on the front endpaper. Otherwise completely clean. Text in English and German. Illustrated in color + vintage black & white photographs and reproductions of ads. Franz Krausz (1905- 1998) was born and educated in Austria and moved to Palestine in 1934. He became a very prominent graphic designer in Israel after its' creation. The earliest examples of his work here are from the mid 1930's and are very modernist in feeling. 11" high X 8" wide, 111 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.

Herb Yellin 1935-2014 was the highly respected publisher and founder of Lord John Press considered by many to be one of the most important small presses of the 20th century. His close personal relationships with many significant writers resulted in an impressive number of unique collectible signed limited edition books. Working with some of modern literature's biggest names-Stephen King Ray Bradbury John Updike Eudora Welty and Joyce Carol Oates among them-and entertaining his personal fascination with Hollywood Yellin was able to create a new realm for Lord John Press combining the two fields; several books including The Lord John Film Festival were the result.
