Half bound in contemporary black leather 5 raised spine bands gilt stamped lettering borders and decorations and marbled boards and endpapers; top edge gilt. The volume is edge rubbed with corner tips exposed and the joints are also rubbed with some abrasions. The preliminary pages to include the engraved title have varying degrees of foxing two tears on the last page of text and occasional turned corner and sporadic soiling.
