Horizontal crease some creasing and toning."The Wikipedia entry for Night of the Living Dead cites 126 references not to mention extensive bibliography external links etc. This is not bad for a film that reputedly cost a little more than $100000 and came out of nowhere—or rather Pittsburgh. I love the line in Preston Sturges’s Sullivan’s Travels when a studio official tells film director Sullivan played by Joel McCrea that “they know what they like in Pittsburgh†and Sullivan responds “If they knew what they liked they wouldn’t live in Pittsburgh.†Of course most of director George A. Romero’s characters are zombies and this may not be a fair representation of the local populace. It is also extraordinary that this little independent film would two generations later be a major and acknowledged influence on the most popular cable television series The Walking Dead. ADMIRAL USHAKOV - Vintage Folded A2 Cinema Poster from Finland 1953
Finland: Mosfilm 1953. 1st Edition . No Binding. Good. An extremely rare Finnish A2 cinema-used poster for the Soviet-era 1953 historical movie Admiral Ushakov. The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in November 1953 with no subsequent theatrical runs. This particular poster is a standard size 60cm x 40cm approx. It is in Good condition - fold-line to centre free from pinholes or adhesive residue marks. There a few tears to the edges the biggest of which is 1.5 inches long. No loss of paper involved and therefore easily fixable. The left edge in particular has a few small nicks and one proper tear. The poster is a trifle tanned perhaps. Notwithstanding the former it remains a very attractive poster beautifully illustrated in colour artist name visible in the plate or stone. <br/> <br/> Mosfilm unknown

Vintage one sheet poster for a double-bill of the 1968 and circa 1976 films circa 1976.<br /> <br /> An amusing pairing of two obscure exploitation films released as a double-bill by Danton Films one of the more memorable sexploitation and Gridnouse production companies of the 1970s circa 1976. "The Sex Shuffle" from 1968 is an exploitation film shot in Texas of hippie orgies drug use and body painting. The second film "Teenage She-Wolves" circa 1976 is largely undocumented except for a few newspaper ads from 1976-1979 and a favorable review in the April 26 1979 "Toronto Star" which describes the film as a Faustian fable set in Mexico in which a Vietnam veteran trades his soul to save the life of the woman he loves.<br /> <br /> 28 x 39.5 inches. Very Good with two R-rating labels over the recto a 1.5 inch chip to the lower left side a small open tear to the top left corner and repairs to pinholes and starting at the creases on the verso with linen tape and cello tape.
