Roughly 4.5 by 6 inches. Bound in the publisher's green cloth with gilt lettering and illustration same as frontis. Some ornamentation in blind. Page edges dyed red. One of the classics in the genre of children's travel as well as science fiction. This edition preceded the English edition. In good condition. Complete and intact but with a lot of generalized wear. There is a tiny edge stain at top corner of a few pages. The fragile tissue paper is present. Some general wear binding is a little cocked the hinges are sound some rubs and abrasion. Overall an extremely good copy of this classic. This is the First Printing. Within a few months Osgood published a more elaborate illustrated edition with the title 'Around the World in Eighty Days'.
