Nel ns. esemplare tutte le tavole - che formano generalmente un atlante separato - sono state inserite nei due volumi, con relativi indici. Sono carte geografiche, topografiche, scene e piani di battaglia, piante di località interessate dalle guerre, e costituiscono un interessantissimo repertorio iconografico per una miglior comprensione di questa grande storia. "Prima edizione" di quest’opera scritta dal generale francese Jean-Baptiste Sahuguet d’Amarzit, barone d’Espagnac (1713-1783). “Maurizio Conte di Sassonia (1696-1750), figlio dell’elettore di Sassonia Federico Augusto I, fu educato fin da giovane alla vita delle armi e combatté, fra il 1709 e il 1717, nelle Fiandre, in Polonia, in Pomerania e contro i Turchi; nel 1720 entrò al servizio della Francia..
