Il volume che vogliamo sottoporre all'attenzione dei lettori è stato concepito come il nostro omaggio al primo linguista-italianista del dopoguerra, fondatore della Cattedra d'Italianistica presso la prestigiosa Università Jagellonica di Cracovia, professore eminente che, sin dagli inizi della sua carriera accademica, ha saputo intrecciare con l'Italia una rete di relazioni multiple e, prescindendo dalle vicende politiche, far conoscere all'estero l'italianistica polacca. Tra gli svariati aspetti in cui si potrebbe sfaccettare la personalità del professore, quello che vorremmo privilegiare in questa sede è la figura del maestro. Infatti Stanislaw Widlak è stato, in modo più o meno diretto, maestro di noi tutti: alcuni hanno seguito i suoi corsi in aula, altri hanno ascoltato le sue relazioni ai convegni, altri ancora letto le numerose pubblicazioni; alcuni di noi hanno avuto il privilegio di avere il Professore in commissione di dottorato o tra i relatori della tesi di abilitazione; chi conosce il Professore semplicemente di vista, chi ha avuto con lui un rapporto più durevole e seguito, chi ancora, specie tra i più giovani, lo conosce semplicemente di chiara fama. A prescindere dalla modalità e lunghezza del contatto, il Professore è stato per tutti noi, italianisti polacchi del primo decennio del XXI secolo, un maestro che ci ha indicato svariate possibilità di studio, metodologie da applicare, direzioni di ricerca da seguire.

I procedimenti qui proposti in modo interlocutorio ridiscutono la nozione di ?tema testuale? a partire dalle occorrenze e concordanze lessicali, per poi allargare l'analisi alla dimensione pi? propriamente testuale con lo studio di alcuni costrutti metaforici estrapolati informaticamente. This lexicographic analysis of poetical texts by Leopardi, Montale and Magrelli meets the intent of legitimating interpretation by anchoring it to the linguistic context. The authors have experimented a method of literary analysis which, with the support of the computer, seeks to clarify the basic conceptual notions of a text. The procedures, proposed in an interlocutory way, discuss the notion of a precise topic starting from the lexical occurrences and concordances, subsequently extending the analysis to a strictly textual dimension focusing on some metaphorical constructions retrieved through data processing. 299 gr. 158 p.
