Dublin: M.H. Gill & Son 1889. Here is an early textbook from the Irish Revival of the late 19th Century containing rules sounds vocabulary and instructions for a Copy-Book. The Society was founded in 1876 and was eventually able to have Irish added to school curricula. A scarce title but in very poor condition. The front cover is missing and while the textblock appears complete the leaves are not connected to a spine which is missing. Please note the condition issues; Quercus must offer this as a Binding Copy in need of restoration or repair. First Edition. Disbound. Poor/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. M.H.
