This issue contains an earth science study on the formation of our planet's surface, using the areas of the Baltic Ocean (Ostsee), and the region between Hannover and Köln, as examples. Accompanied by a charming map showing the course of the lower Lahn River and its tributaries, mainly Ohm, Wieseck, Kleebach, Dill, Solmsbach, Weil, Elbbach, and Aar. Also showing part of the Rhine river and the Moselle, a tributary of the Rhine, joining it at Koblenz. These are the original pages printed in 1807, and NOT a reprint. This narrative is from a rare multi-volume geographical and scientific journal titled "Allgemeine Geographische Ephemeriden", which issued fifty volumes from 1798-1816 and which encompassed critical contemporary topics of geography and astronomy. Adam Christian Gaspari and Franz Xaver von Zach were editors of this important scientific journal.

Depuis la d�couverte de diamants en 1907 ce territoire est d�clar� zone interdite d'acc�s. D�termin�e et pers�v�rante elle r�ussit toutefois � obtenir l'autorisation de s'y rendre. Avec une tente pour tout abri elle vit plusieurs mois � leurs c�t�s pour les conna�tre et �tudier leur comportement. Parlant avec eux le langage universel des chevaux elle r�ussit � faire sa place parmi ces fant�mes du d�sert qui ignorent tout des humains. Pourtant les humains font partie de leur pass� car ils ne sont pas arriv�s l� par hasard. C'est en 1907 qu'un riche baron allemand s'installe avec des chevaux sur une ferme de cinquante mille hectares aux confins du Namib pour fournir la remonte de la cavalerie allemande d�tach�e en Namibie depuis la signature du trait� de Berlin en 1884. En 1913 l'arm�e sud-africaine envahit le pays les cavaliers de Guillaume II s'enfuient et les chevaux sont laiss�s � eux-m�mes dans ce territoire d�sert� par les hommes.
