Kriegsweihnachten war Christmas was an important celebration in the German and other armies and was formally celebrated with a dinner and exchange of gifts. This book may have been such a gift. The author Karl Boemer was Leiter der Presseabteilung des Aussenpolitischen Amtes of the Nazi party. The book is an analysis of foreign press reports about the Nazi party its policy and its leaders. It contains numerous political cartoons from the foreign press. It is meant to serve as a manual for generating and countering propaganda.
