Reliures signées de R. P. Gout. Gout et son fils étaient relieurs établis à Montpellier, place Notre-Dame, au milieu du XIXe siècle. Gout fils fut relieur et laveur de livres. Il trouva des procédés pour rendre au papier sa blancheur première sans en altérer la substance, et reçut pour cela une récompense à l'Exposition universelle de 1855. Très bel exemplaire, fines reliures romantiques signées du meilleur atelier installé à Montpellier au XIXe siècle. Bel exemplaire, reliures très fraîches

Ses épigrammes eurent un grand succès et servirent largement dans la formation des clercs à la doctrine augustinienne.
