Ses taux de piq�res sont de l'ordre de 2 p/H/n en R0 131 p/H/n en R1 et de 205 p/H/n en R2. An.funestus manifeste une endophagie marqu�e avec une tr�s forte tendance zoophile. An.funestus repr�sente 415% des moustiques r�colt�s � l�int�rieur des maisons. Cette esp�ce induit un paludisme stable dans les villages non rizicoles et un paludisme moyennement stable dans les villages rizicoles de la r�gion foresti�re ouest de C�te d�Ivoire.
