Ce travail atteste une grande sagacité de recherches et un rare discernement. " Le roi Alphonse auquel ce genre d'études plaisait singulièrement ne se lassait pas d'entendre Valla et le mettait quelquefois aux prises avec Antoine de Parlerme " inde ivae ".
