III, si ricava che la 1. edizione, stampata a Firenze, all'insegna della Croce Rossa, nell'aprile dello stesso anno, fu ritirata dalla circolazione, dallo stesso A., per i troppi errori, di questo importante studio del noto musicologo e filologo veneziano, Andrea Majer (1765-1837). L'opera è una dotta dissertazione estetica dedicata all'opera del celebre artista originario di Pieve di cadore, Vecellio Tiziano. Prima rara edizione.
