Essays include 'Of the State of Europe' 'Observations on a Libel' 'A Speech Touching Purveyors' and 'Of the True Greatness of Britain'. The final essay is 'Of a War With Spain'; the remaining works originally included in this volume are not present because they are concerned with law rather than politics. With a facsimile reproduction of the title page tipped-in. Condition: Expertly rebound in a flock covered binding. Externally generally smart with slight rubbing to extremities and marks to rear board. Internally firmly bound. Title page is a facsimile reproduction tipped-in.
