L'Aiglon was Napoleon II or Napoleon François Charles Joseph 1811-1832 king of Rome emperor of the French prince of Parma duke of Reichstadt. Although short lived In 1900 the writer Edmond Rostand paid tribute to him by making him the main character in a play called L'Aiglon. Hence the title of this work the following year. 406 pages. 20cm x 14cm. . Première édition. Jolie reliure contemporaine en demi-cuir rouge foncé avec des plats marbrés rouges. Titres et décorations dorés au dos. La reliure est en très bon état avec juste un peu de frottement. L'intérieur de l'ouvrage est propre et bien rangé les bords des pages étant légèrement assombris.
