Librairie De Firmin Didot Freres. Paris Librarie de Firmin Didot Freres 1845 Hardcover red boards with swirling black decoration outside of pages also red and black colours. Spine more orange with gilt titling and decoration although now a little faded. Front board sports an oval portrait of a woman looking out at us from between an ornate border. This is now a little frayed and is torn. The book itself is in good condition; integral and sound the only real defect it suffers from is foxing which is quite bad on some pages mostly it is not bad and often it is quite slight.
