Hinges are loose at the bottom edges but are holding and the book and text block are square. Spine is sun toned but the gilt lettering is still plain and the cloth shows rubbing and there is an old first issue note in pencil on the front free endpaper that could easily be erased. One tiny London bookseller label on the corner of the pastedown and the barely noticeable clear imprint of another London bookseller on the opposite corner.Thirty-eight pages of publishers catalog at end dated July 1903. They are at least reading copies complete and in reasonable condition but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples.
