Los Angeles circa 1965: Unpublished 1965. Original Typed Notes . Single Sheet. Very Good. Two page typed notes one side regarding Helen M. Urban and the other side about L. Ron Hubbard apparently written for an anthology edited by Ackerman. The Hubbard content is interesting but unreliable absent other evidence: . For better or worse I'm the guy who along with a push from a grand old gal whos probably passed away by now Lucie B. Shephard started Hubbard writing sci fi. He aimed his first attempt at American "Argosy" - that was about 1937 - and it was a novella about a time in the distant future when another Ice Age had come and past sic and Viking-like men Vikingolds inhabited The States. As far as I know it was never published. Perhaps it weas never written. . "The Final Enemy" will serve to remind of the adept story-spinner we lost when Elron left for greener pastures." The Final Enemy was published in September 1950 in Super Science Stories. The otrher side of the paper has similar typed notes on Helen Urban apparently for a story "To Serve Ma'am". Printed and cursive ink and pencil changes by Ackerman. <br/> <br/> Unpublished unknown
