Stuttgart/Tubingen: J.G. Cotta'scher Verlag 1853. Leather. Very Good. 12 vols. A set of twelve small hardcover books bound in full leather with marbled endpapers. Exteriors rubbed with some crackling and heavier scuffing on the spines. Some hairline cracks forming on the exterior hinges but the covers remain securely attached and the binding is tight across the set. Owner's inscription on first blank page in volume 1 which also has some faint dampstaining in the margins. Some page corners bent in volume 8. Pages uniformly foxed across the set but text it otherwise unmarked. Very good condition overall. The complete works of Friedrich Schiller in German text is in the Gothic-style fraktur font.
