No imprint looks 1930s. Die cut figure 255 mm tall 10¼ inches made from very thick cardboard approximately 3 mm 1/8" overlaid with printed paper. Traditional figure in red tunic green stockings and black shoes with a mass of softly waving yellow hair and a sad face as in the books published by Blackie and Routledge in the early 20th century and still in use today. He was not provided with fingernails. The legs and arms are jointed using staples and are moved by pulling on a single thread. The staples are a little rusty there is a minute chip to the surface colour at the edge of 1 shoe his right arm and his left side. Otherwise in excellent condition. A scarce survival.
