This is a good plus solid clean set over all internally very good paper lightly yellowed internal binding tight BUT with hinges cracked and one each broken on vol. 1 and 2 with a cover loose rubbing to all corners leather fraying and chipping at the back strip title labels missing from vol. 3. This set is well worth binding restoration and price accordingly Edward Moxon hardcover

Wear at spine ends corners and edges with some loss of leather. Spine gilt fading. Four volumes in two. Frontis photo of author in Vol. 1. Prior owner neat pencil signature on feeps each volume.
