A really beautifully preserved set of this important work. VERY SCARCE AND RARELY SEEN IN THE MARKETPLACE. Copies of this important work by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley and others seem rarely to come to market. The books focus on the lives and writings of such important French writers as Montaigne Rabelais Rochefoucauld Moli�re La Fontaine Pascal Racine Voltaire Rousseau and others. While there are some copies in libraries as noted by OCLC many are incomplete lacking a volume or in some cases portions of the text.
