Publishers' dark red boards with gilt titles to spine and upper board and black border with gilt vignette to upper board. Unclipped pictorial dark red dust-jacket with colour onlay. Lower corner of upper board bruised and spine tips lightly creased; a bright copy. Scattered foxing mainly to prelims and textblock edge; some line drawings tidily coloured-in by hand. Small red stain from cloth to rfep; no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket torn with loss top edge front approx 3 inches x 1 and repaired to verso with transparent adhesive tape; minor loss to corners. Rare in jacket.
