Sveopsti spev
Kosmos 2023. hardcover. NEW. Sveopsti spev Canto general istovremeno predstavlja univerzalnu knjizevnost i jedinstvenu hroniku Latinske Amerike. Kosmos hardcover

Tentativa del Hombre Infinito "Venture of the Infinite Man"
Santiago de Chile: Orbe / Coleccion "El Viento en la Llama 1962. Later edition. Softcover. Very good/very good. 16mo 10cm x 14cm. A very good copy in the original cardstock wraps with dust jacket. Front inner hinge partly exposed but holding. Dust jacket age-toned and with a dampstain along the spine not affecting the interior. A cheaply produced volume and as such rather well-preserved. SIGNED by Neruda with a full-page inscription on the front free endpaper: "1965 A Westphallen un viejo libro con la amistad de toujours. Pablo Neruda." our translation: "1965 To Westphallen - an old book with everlasting friendship." Likely presented to someone with that surname possibly Peruvian artist Judith Westphalen different spelling is noted. Or the poet could be referring to the German region where he inscribed it. Though somewhat mysterious to us a question that might be cleared up by a Neruda scholar. We found no other signed copies of this important early work by Neruda first editions or reprints at the time of listing. This edition is also rather uncommon in commerce even unsigned. Neruda, Pablo Translated by Nathaniel Tarn Preface by Robert Pring-Mill
The Heights of Macchu Picchu.
London: Jonathan Cape 1966. First edition in English of Neruda's masterpiece. Octavo original cloth. Boldly signed by Pablo Neruda on the half-title page. Translated by Nathaniel Tarn. Preface by Robert Pring-Mill. Fine in a near fine dust jacket. Housed in a custom half morocco clamshell box. A very sharp example rare and desirable signed. "The Heights of Machu Picchu" has been called Pablo Neruda's greatest contribution to poetry—a search for the "indestructible imperishable life" in all things. Inspired by his journey to the ancient ruins Neruda calls the lost Incan civilization to "rise up and be born" and also empowers the people of his time. Jonathan Cape hardcover
