"Der Übersetzer irrt sich, wenn er den französischen Autor korrigieren zu müssen glaubt und den ersten Teil Schwester Augustine betitelt; es soll, wie der Franzose schreibt, Schwester Augustin heißen, denn diese Nonne ist ein Jüngling!" Dennoch konnten sich wenige Bibliotheken ein Exemplar sichern, keines aber entspricht dem Zustand des vorliegenden: In honigfarbenes Pergament zeitgenössich eingebunden, durchgehend sauber und in allerbester Papierqualität gedruckt mit auserlesener Typographie gehört das Exemplar zu den Glanzstücken einer jeden Bibliothek.
