Only 1 listing on OCLC. <br/><br/>In the years leading up to the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920 which guaranteed women's right to vote on the federal level voting activists were working to pass women's suffrage bills on the state level. This broadside was reprinted and distributed by many state organizations to lobby for state suffrage amendments. The handbill emphasizes women's important roles in both the home and workplace summing up in the last point that votes for women benefit "the common good of all." Top and bottom 1/8 is wearing off otherwise very good condition.October 31 1909: The Woman Suffrage Party is founded. 1917 New York State grants women the right to vote one of the first to do so. Caroline McCormick Slade was a Trustee of Bryn Mawr College and one of its most active fundraisers. She joined the college Equal Suffrage League in 1912 and in 1917 became Chairman of the Woman Suffrage Party of New York City.<br/>Slade was particularly active in war service work and spoke at Bryn Mawr on April 19 1918 on "The New York Campaign and Women's Work in the War." Her work for the NAWSA which remained organized until 1951 continued well into the decades following the suffrage victory. No cpies in any institution as per OCLC. unknown books‎

‎(Paris), 1789. In 8 de 29 pp., 29 pp. et 22 pp. (clef des personnages) rose de l’époque, curieux pamphlet complet des trois fascicules. Il est exagéré d'en faire un périodique, comme le décrit Hatin (p. 114), mais les trois livraisons furent effectivement successives. Son objet est une critique des membres de l'Assemblée Nationale (qui siégeait alors au Manège), comparés à des chevaux rétifs, qu'il faut dresser. La clef donne d'ailleurs les équivalences. Complet des trois parties brochés (la première sous couverture de papier rose de l’époque).‎
