1964. VG/1st ed. Altama Plantation was a rice and cotton plantation on the south bank of the Altamaha river about 15 miles above Brunswick Georgia and about 11 miles below Darien Georgia. The booklet is 23 pages long and includes a double page map of the plantation of Hopeton Plantation and Altama Plantation which were incorporated when William DuPont bought the properties in 1914.
