Former owner Wilbur Morris Stine 1863-1934 with degrees from Dickinson College and Ohio University taught physics and engineering at Ohio University from 1886 to 1893 electricity and electrical engineering at Armour Institute from 1893 to 1898 and engineering at Swarthmore College from 1898 to 1906. He also published poetry and fiction. The second issue in this volume contains his article "Memory and How to Remember" along with a portrait and facsimile signature. Other contents include: Photographing Lightning in the National Park by Morton J. Elrod -- several articles about Florida wildlife by Charles H. Coe -- The Lost Eye by Anna Hinrichs.
