Bound in glossy paper-covered hardboards with full-color full-pictorial illustrations. Unbumped spine head and tail and sharp corners. Immensely clean binding. Text block firmly bound in. With 222 numbered pages. All text in English. With numerous full-color full-page plates of paintings and photos all on glossy stock. An exceptionally clean interior. Almost certainly unread. The text block is tight; minor page waviness as is typical for a text block of heavy glossy sheets. With a full-pictorial color dust jacket; with a tiny repaired tear at the lower corner of the front of the DJ and a 2" cut in the middle of the DJ front scarcely noticeable. A Fine copy in a Near Fine DJ. 5 lbs. 6 oz. According to the blurb this book "illustrates artworks from the Homines Uniformis 010:Coast Myth and Reality Silence Cycles&Sequences series and photography alongside never before published early works." Ross Watson b. 1962 is an artist based in Melbourne Australia. He has exhibited in London Berlin and Los Angeles. He maintains an art gallery in Melbourne "dedicated exclusively to Watson's art." Perhaps the only thing more naked than the paintings and photographs is the artist's naked self-promotion; the book is larded with quotes from celebrities praising the artist's work such as "Ross Watson's paintings are obviously the work of a master of technique. The conjunction of modern naturalism and classic works makes it hard to believe one's eyes."
