I LIKE TO EAT RIGHT ON THE DIRT is made from photographs I have made of my own children four with a text of poems I have written for them. The poems are about refusing to eat camping out and our pets; "Che the hunter Terror of mice Does many things That are not very nice%u201D. Things like that. I have also put some color around the pictures to keep things cheery.I would only add this. I am almost certain that next year 1986 Aperture will re-issue The Bikeriders. At the same time my first feature length film WILLIE will be released. I think that the attention paid to these two works might help sell the children's book."
