Lyautey was well known as a homosexual and inspired one of Clemenceau's baser quips: "an admirable and courageous man who always had balls up to his ass. Figura muliebre di 3/4, seduta: indossa una lorica o corazza muscolata con seni in evidenza, e tunica drappeggiata ad avvolgere le gambe, in capo elmo con cresta; nella mano sinistra regge una lunga asta, mentre nella destra tiene un groviglio di serpenti. Sottostante dicitura: "Concordia Militare" manoscritta in matita.
Elegante incisione (mm. 120 x 230 all'impressione di lastra + ampi margini) a bulino, anonima ma di chiara impronta neoclassica (inizio del sec. XIX). La simbologia rimanda ad Atena-Minerva, che presso i Greci designava l'ingegno tattico che in battaglia dà schema al furore guerriero e a Roma le virtù della guerra giusta. Due timbri a secco sotto l'incisione e un altro nell'angolo a sinistra ("Amminist. Gle Camle. della Stamp. Calco. Cart. con umbraculum ornato da 2 chiavi poste in decusse). La Calcografia Camerale, nacque dall' acquisizione nel 1738 delle matrici della Stamperia De Rossi da parte dello Stato pontificio.
