Duroc. Duca di Friuli e Maresciallo di Palazzo. (Ritratto a mezzo busto, di 3/4 verso destra, in uniforme da generale con gran Croce della Legion d'onore e dell'Ordine della Coronea ferrea, appuntate sul petto).
Incisione in acciaio (mm. 100 x 120 parte incisa + ampi margini) di Devegni su disegno di Couché, databile verso la metà del sec. XIX. Ritrae il generale Giraud-Christophe-Michel Duroc (1772-1813): partecipò alla campagna d'Italia, in cui divenne aiutante di campo di Napoleone. Ne divenne fedelissimo prendendo in seguito parte al colpo di stato del 9 novembre 1799, che segnò la fine del Direttorio e l'inizio del Consolato. Napoleone lo insignì del titolo di duca del Friuli nel 1808.

Incisione in acciaio (mm. 100 x 180 + margini bianchi), databile nel sec. XIX. Ritrae Antoine-Charles-Louis, conte di Collinet (1775-1809): uno dei più valorosi condottieri di cavalleria leggera durante la Rivoluzione e l'Impero; già nella Guardia Nazionale (1793), partecipò alla Campagnia d'Italia e si distinse in Egitto a fianco di Napoleone, ad Austerlitz, sul fronte prussiano e in Spagna, morendo in battaglia a Wagram contro gli austriaci.

Maresciallo Lannes. Duca di Montebello. (Ritratto a mezzo busto di 3/4 verso sinistra, ma col volto rivolto a destra, in uniforme da generale).
Incisione in acciaio (mm. 80 x 120 parte incisa + ampi margini), databile nel sec. XIX. Ritrae il generale napoleonico e Maresciallo dell'Impero Jean Lannes (1769-1809) che fu nell'esercito rivoluzionario francese, poi nell'armata d'Italia al comando di Napoleone. Fra i sostenitori del colpo di stato, fu uno dei marescialli massoni di Bonaparte. Si distinse per valore ed audacia nella 1ª e 2ª campagnia d'Italia, in Siria, contro la Prussia e in Spagna. Fu creato duca di Montebello nel 1807.

(Bastia, F.lli Fabiani, 1833). Incisione in rame (mm. 80 x 100 parte incisa + ampi margini) di Dramil. Ritrae Jean Victor Marie Moreau (1763-1813): fra i migliori generali della Repubblica. Sostenne Napoleone nel colpo di stato, ma ne divenne rivale politico; coinvolto nella congiura ordita da Pichegru e Cadoudal nel 1802 contro Bonaparte, fu da questi fatto esiliare. Andò negli Stati Uniti per tornare in Europa al servizio dello zar Alessandro di Russia. Morì nella battaglia di Dresda contro i francesi.

Incisione in acciaio (parte incisa: mm. 80 x 110) databile nella metà del sec. XIX (ripresa da François Seraphin Delpech). Ritrae il generale Jean-Charles Pichegru(1761-1804), che durante le guerre rivoluzionarie condusse campagne vittoriose sul fronte del Nord, occupando i Paesi Bassi. Con Cadoudal partecipò alla cospirazione contro Napoleone Bonaparte come Primo console, ma tradito, fu arrestato e ucciso in prigione.

An indispensable source of information on military educational cinematography used during WW II. Divided into two main parts the book is a guide to the principles of the making and the use of cinematography for military education and a catalogue of all such available films used by the Wehrmacht at the time of publication. The greatest part of the book some 200 pages comprises of a very detailed catalogue of all Wehrmacht educational films divided into several subject- and search groups. It lists in considerable detail hundreds of films and image series by title subject category date duration etc. with a brief but comprehensive description of the contents. Length of films in meter and minutes is given as well as variations of small- and large formats. Extensive categorizing system is applied with cross references. There are chapters dedicated to all films for the use of individual Military Branches: infantry artillery pioneers and field engineers armour signal corps supply and logistics smoke and gas defence railway pioneers sanitary technical troops etc. Films for special circumstances such as mountain war winter war desert and steppe war etc. General military education films such as military history espionage antiaircraft defense. And miscellaneous films such as politics current international affairs foreign armies science etc. The material is listed by title and subject as well as by item number. The first part of the book is an introduction of the principles terms technique and implementation of image and film in military education. It is clearly intended for the use of rank officers who might commission or use such a film. This part explains the essence of combining words and images story board wall- and table displays photography principles of projection of transparencies working on light table editing and montage the various film sizes i.e. 16mm 35mm and medium- and large formats motion picture sound etc. It later discusses the implementation of the film in education the projection room design and production of films and slideshows managing an archive etc. etc. Issued for the use of the higher echelon at the regimental level this guide has been published in a limited number of copies. In 1796 Congress began providing warrants to the 2.5 million acres of land in the district to Revolutionary War veterans and in a smaller capacity to the Society of the United Brethren Moravians "for propagating the Gospel among the Heathen." The present volume consists of three detailed tables prepared by the Register's Office of the Treasury Department and one letter from the Register of Treasury Joseph Nourse all relating to the present status of the warrants. The wonderful plates are 11.5x15 cm in size, chromolithographed on thick, glossy paper, with each image captioned at bootom.
