‎Rare collection complète sur papier albuminé au format « carte de visite » des dépêches télégraphiques allemandes de la Guerre de 1870 conforme à l'édition sur papier ordinaire publiée à Berlin vers 1871 sous le titre "Sämmtliche Kriegs-Depeschen 1870-1871. Abdruck der Depeschen des Königl. Polizei-Präsidii zu Berlin". La première édition avait paru au format in-folio (36 x 23,5 cm) sous le titre "Depeschen vom Kriegs-Schauplatz. Offizielle militärische Nachrichten". Portrait et adresses au peuple et à l'armée du Kaiser Guillaume Ier suivis de 189 dépêches numérotées (un même numéro peut correspondre à deux dépêches) du 31 juillet 1870 au 3 mars 1871. Une traduction française fut publiée chez Lachaud à Paris en 1871 sous le titre La guerre de 1870-1871. Documents officiels allemands. Collection des dépêches télégraphiques du quartier général allemand, de S. M. le roi de Prusse à la reine Augusta, etc. etc. du 31 juillet 1870 au 5 février 1871. Traduction W. Filippi. [2] typewritten pages, 30cm x 21 cm. 2-page membership list from the first full-year of Hitler’s full power in Germany, showing approximately 75 current members with city and address. Agudath Israel was founded in Kattowitz, German Empire (now Katowice, Poland), in 1912, with the purpose of providing an umbrella organization for observant Jews who opposed the Zionist movement. In Erez Israel, Agudat Yisrael was established as a branch of this movement, to provide opposition to the organized Jewish community (the "Yishuv"). One of its most authoritative spokesmen against the formation of a Jewish State, the Dutch poet Jacob Israël de Haan, was assassinated by the Haganah in 1924. In the wake of the Holocaust, anti-Zionist rabbis who led Agudat Israel recognized the great utility of a Jewish state, and it became non-Zionist, rather than anti-Zionist. It did not actively participate in the creation of Israel, but it ceased its opposition to it. In 1933, it entered into an agreement with the Jewish Agency, according to which Agudat Yisrael would receive 6.5% of the immigration permits. Eventually, at the eve of the Israeli Declaration of Independence (1948), Agudat Yisrael yielded to pressure from the Zionist movement, and has been a participant in most governments since that time. age staining, few tears, very brittle. ‎Portrait original, exécuté durant la Commune, de Gabriel Ranvier. Il est représenté assis, en costume militaire, fumant la pipe. La composition est signée Rinaldo et datée 1871.Peintre en porcelaine et militant socialiste, Gabriel Ranvier (1828- 1879) fut incarcéré à la fin du second Empire pour « attaque contre le gouvernement établi ». Libéré après la proclamation de la République le 4 septembre 1870, il commanda un bataillon de la Garde nationale. Élu maire du XXe arrondissement, puis élu au conseil de la Commune le 26 mars 1871, c'est lui qui proclama la Commune à l'Hôtel de ville de Paris le 28 mars.Surnommé le "Christ de Belleville", il prit part à tous les combats. Lissagaray vante sa bravoure durant la Semaine sanglante : « Le seul qui fasse figure est Ranvier, d'une énergie superbe dans les batailles. Il fut, pendant cette agonie, l'âme de la Villette et de Belleville, poussant les hommes, veillant à tout ».Réfugié à Londres après l'échec de la Commune, il fut condamné à mort par contumace en 1874. ‎Journal inédit du siège de Paris et de la Semaine sanglante, rédigé sur les feuillets d'un livre de compte à en-tête du Crédit Foncier de France dont l'auteur était alors secrétaire du Conseil d'administration.Jean-Baptiste Henri Poulain d'Andecy (1818-1884), licencié en droit, « ami de l'étude », avait d'abord secondé les conservateurs de la Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal avant d'être nommé sous-préfet d'Ambert (1848) puis de Nantua (1849-1851) sous la Deuxième République. Il était marié à Anaïs Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, arrière-petite-fille du naturaliste Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire. Il est le père de Jeanne Louise Poulain d'Andecy (1857-1934), âgée de treize ans en 1871, qui épousera en 1881 le mathématicien Henri Poincaré.Propriétaire de la maison du 80 rue d'Assas, Poulain d'Andecy relate dans sa lettre au maire du 6e arrondissement Anne-Charles Hérisson (27 mai 1871, retranscrite dans le journal) : « Profondément dévoué à la République et pénétré des sentiments que vous venez d'exprimer si dignement, je me mets à votre disposition. Je suis propriétaire de la maison rue d'Assas 80, y demeurant avec mes cinq enfants et les hôtes nombreux placés sous mon patronage, n'ayant quitté mon poste ni pendant le bombardement prussien, ni pendant l'épouvantable guerre de ces derniers jours, resté dans ma maison avec M. Masson, vieillard de 74 ans, mon locataire, après avoir lutté corps à corps avec le bandit qui voulait nous tuer et nous incendier et ayant nous-mêmes les premiers sous les balles des Communeux du Carrefour de l'Observatoire, attaqué l'incendie de la maison mitoyenne n° 78. »Le siège de Paris (janvier 1871). Quand commence le bombardement le jeudi 5 janvier 1871, la famille Poulain d'Andecy reste dans ses murs : « De 9h à 11h 1/2 nous eûmes la vue des obus tombant près de nous et le bruit des nombreux projectiles qui traversaient l'air à droite et à gauche de notre maison [...] nous organisons le tamponnage de nos fenêtres sur la rue au moyen de matelas interposés entre la persienne et la croisée [...] Je vérifie l'état des greniers et je constate avec terreur que nous eussions été perdus sans défense possible si un projectile fut tombé sur la partie supérieure de la maison. » L'attitude de la famille, « calmes et véritablement étrangers à la peur », est consignée avec soin : « Louise n'a pas été troublée, son frère Paul est resté près d'elle. »La Semaine sanglante (mai 1871). La relation est tenue heure après heure. Le 80 rue d'Assas est occupé par les Fédérés : « Mardi 23 mai. 2 heures. Ordre est donné à la concierge de tenir la porte cochère ouverte. Mercredi 24 mai à 8h 1/2, une pièce de 7 se chargeant par la culasse est amenée et placée en batterie dans la direction de la rue de Vaugirard [...] Nous faisons descendre les dames et enfants dans l'escalier de la cuisine. » Le 25 mai : « Nous nous arrêtons devant les cadavres nombreux en maints endroits. Dans le fossé de la barricade au bas de l'ancienne rue des Grès, boulevard Saint-Michel, une quinzaine au moins de cadavres sont couchés [...] des paquets de cervelle sous les pas... enfin un spectacle hideux [...] feux de peloton dans le Luxembourg, c'est-à-dire exécution des communeux pris les armes à la main. »Note bibliographique finale. L'ancien attaché de l'Arsenal clôt son journal le 2 novembre 1871 par une mise au point sur l'article d'Émile Littré dans La Philosophie positive (septembre-octobre 1871), qui attribuait aux troupes l'extinction des incendies de la rue d'Assas : « J'ai été bien tenté de faire savoir à M. Littré que ce n'était pas grâce à l'arrivée des troupes mais grâce à la persévérance de quelques citoyens que les incendies avaient été éteints [...] Voici donc un habitant de la maison au secours de laquelle j'ai été le premier, qui ignore même les détails de cette matinée. Qu'importe ?
