Madison CAWEIN 1865 1914
Don Quixote MP3 CD Jan 01 2017 Madison CAWEIN 1865 - 1914
IDB Productions 2017-01-01. MP3 CD. New. Madison Julius Cawein was born in Louisville Kentucky. After finishing his high school studies Madison was employed in a pool hall in Louisville as a teller in Waddill's New-market which was also a gaming company. He served for 6 years setting aside his wages in order for him to come home to pursue his writing career. His productivity was 36 volumes and 1500 verses. His works introduced Kentucky settings in a dialect mirroring Percy Bysshe Shelley and John Keats. He got immediately tagged as the "Keats of Kentucky". In Greek folklore Hippocrene was the appellation of a spring in Mt. Helicon. It was divine to the Muses and was founded by the cloven of Pegasus. Its title factually interprets as "Horse's Fountain" and the spring was intended to give rise to lyrical enthusiasm when taken into consideration. </br></br>The book comprises: The Cup of Comus; The Intruder; A Ghost of Yesterday; Lords of the Visionary Eye; The Creaking Door; At the End of the Road; The Troubadour of Trebizend; Ghosts; The Lonely Land; The Wind Witch; Old Ghosts; The Name on the Tree; The Haunted Garden; The Closed Door; The Long Room; In Pearl and Gold; Moon Fairies; Haec Olim Meminisse; The Magic Purse; The Child at the Gate; The Lost Dream; Witchcraft; Transposed Seasons; The Old Dreamer; A Last Word; The Shadow; On the Road; Reconciliation; Portents; The Iron Crags; The Iron Cross; The Wanderer; The End of Summer; The Lust of the World; Chant Before Battle; Nearing Christmas; A Belgian Christmas; The Festival of the Aisne; The Cry of Earth; Child and Father; The Rising of the Moon; Where the Battle Passed; The Iron Age; The Battle; On Re-reading Certain German Poets; On Opening an Old School Volume of Horace; Laus Deo; The New York Skyscraper; Robert Browning; Riley; Don Quixote; The Woman; The Song of Songs; Oglethorpe; and A Poet's Epitaph.
