Abnégation, courage, lui sont associés ; prisonnier d'opinion, pensent beaucoup. Procédant à une lecture exhaustive des documents publiés et des manuscrits de Blanqui et à propos de Blanqui, l'auteur détruit ici cette légende. Il montre tout ce qui dans les axiomes simplistes du blanquisme éclaire le phénomène moderne du révolutionnaire professionnel.
