I will vary from my habit of describing each item to death as time and circumstance will not permit it here. I recently acquired the estate of a gentleman I surmise was a hydrologist/surveyor/engineer working in the Pacific NW in the heyday of the orgy of dam building and irrigation/flood control. Having individually listed a few dozen items I am left with 10 items perhaps 3000 pages of Columbia River material that I will offer as a group with one-book priced domestic media mail shipping. They may weigh 25 pounds. All are worn and used extensively some quite dowdy some perhaps not complete. One of the largest volumes appears to be a duplicate I will vend it with these because it will offer an opportunity to deconstruct it without affecting the better copy. All of the 1948s have magnificent fotos gatefold maps charts. I will attempt to shoot examples for this listing but given my lousy photographic skills not sure they will read well. This group is C of E Review Report 1948 -3 volume 4 with the massive duplicate with detached cover refd. above set. The other set one ringbound is C of E 1958 "Water Resource Development Columbia River Basin" re irrigation with less aesthetic appeal more charts fewer gatefolds and fotos. The binding is compromised on some volumes spine chip ring binding shot. The owner of these was in the habit of laying in related papers I feel sure I have not culled them all. Those include Newspaper foto of Hungry Horse Dam under construction1962 Cong. Record copy of speech lauding the BPA oversize gatefold map probably from 1948s bad volume showing the whole system and 1950 publication of the US House Docement#473 Our Rivers: Total Use For Greater Wealth don't tell the Salmon.
