Very good condition. An illustrated football program for either the October 30 1943 Army won 33-7 or October 21 1944 Army won 12-2 game between the West Point JV team and the Carrier Aircraft Service Unit #23 team stationed at Atlantic City NJ. Of the Army's JV team the 1945 West Point yearbook explains "Unseen and unsung was the "B" squad football team. The primary purpose of the team was to furnish opposition for the varsity. Day in and day out these men rehearsed enemy plays for the benefit of "A" squad. How well they did their job is attested by the undefeated varsity record. "B" squad was no mean team in its own right. Playing a schedule of three games it went undefeated and ranked among the top eighty teams in the nation. Our hats are off to "A" squad's toughest opponent". Many of the players listed here were in the West Point Class of 1945. Single roneographed sheet folded to make a brochure. 5 1/4 x 8". Some wear original horizontal fold.

unknown
