As might be expected to wraps have various rubbing scuffs and nicks and some of the spine card has been repaired with tape. A squadron history based on the unit diary of operations on the Western Front in the final year of World War One and written by L.A. Pattinson the Squadron Commander. Equipped with the DH9 the 99 Squadron was a bombing squadron. They were tasked with long-distance raids both on enemy-occupied areas of Alsace-Lorraine in France and inside Germany itself. W.
