During this tenure a lot of research work was done in various social issues. He secured his Bachelor's, Master's (Post Graduation) and Doctoral degrees in social work from Andhra university and awarded first rank with gold medal at post graduation studies. His area of specialization is community development. He secured International certificate in community development and Adult education at Nijmegen University, Netherlands.He has participated in several National and International (Belgium, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Thailand , Malaysia and Canada) seminars, conferences and workshops and enriched with the knowledge of social work education. He has zeal of learning and great aptitude towards teaching and research. He has delivered guest lectures in several universities in Canada, Belgium and Germany. His focused areas are capacity building, empowering women groups(SHG'S, DWACRA'S), child education and health, youth development, Awareness building on social issues, community development in urban slums, rural and tribal areas. He haspublished several books on different social issues.Training programmes to personnel of the Non Governmental organizations and consultant services to Local, National and International organizations.
