I socialisti italiani e la guerra delle nazioni
In 12°; 16 pp. Un leggero alone al margine interno bianco. Il quaderno centrale è stato montato, all'epoca, in modo leggermente storto. Raro opuscolo socialista pubblicato nel 1917 da qualche iscritto dell'Unione Generale Insegnanti Italiani del Comitato Lombardo che aveva sede nell'Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. L'opera si inserisce nel dibattito finale delle due correnti presenti nel movimento socialista e cioè, fra l'area riformista guidata dalle idee di Filippo Turati e interpretata dalla rivista "Critica Sociale" e l'area massimalista-intransigente che rappresentava la maggioranza del partito e che vedeva fra i suoi leader Giacinto Seratti e Benito Mussolini e nell'Avanti il suo organo d'informazione. Fino al 1917 il dibattito interno fu costante, a volte anche veemente ma non portò ad una vera e propria spaccatura. Ma nel 1917, verso la metà dell'anno una serie di avvenimenti epocali come la rivoluzione in Russia, la protesta popolare contro il peggioramento delle condizioni di vita e la disfatta militare di Caporetto portò la fazione di Serrati ad uno strappo decisivo. In particolare fu Amedeo Bordiga a portare avanti una propaganda che voleva passare dall'opposizione passiva alla guerra ad una opposizione attiva di tipo rivoluzionario. Nell'opuscolo qui presentato si cerca di ripercorrere la storia dell'intervento italiano in guerra, propendendo ad appoggiare l'intervento italiano come una risposta ad un'aggressione e non come una scelta deliberata. Raro opuscolo socialista pubblicato nel 1917 da qualche iscritto dell'Unione Generale Insegnanti Italiani del Comitato Lombardo che aveva sede nell'Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi.
