The address 28 E. Jackson was a building where Rennie Davis rented a space so it is possible that the MOBE printed this though we cannot confirm. unknown books

While a Protestant he professed ardent Jacobitism and hoped to be made lord chancellor in the event of the restoration of the Stuarts. Accordingly he went to Rome in the summer of 1721 and there unfolded to the Pretender the details of a wondrous plot 'which' he declared 'no one would understand till it had been carried out successfully.' He proposed to enlist broken soldiers seize the Tower the Mint the Bank and other public buildings secure the royal family and murder the commander-in-chief and ministers whenever the conspirators could find them together . He tried to entice soldiers at Romford and Leytonstone and succeeded in enlisting a handful of malcontents . He was betrayed by two female friends and placed under arrest in a messenger's home from which he managed to escape but was taken after an exciting chase the same evening and closely confined in the Tower . The case was carried to the king's bench on 31 Oct. 1722 . The trial was opened on 21 Nov . after a trial of eighteen hours the jury unanimously found a verdict of guilty . he was condemned to be hanged drawn and quartered." -DNB. Liebold was responsible for collecting more material to support the articles. The Dearborn Independent, also known as The Ford International Weekly, was a weekly newspaper established in 1901, and published by Henry Ford from 1919 through 1927. However, Ford's own attitudes towards Jews were the major reason for the publication of "The International Jew." His anti-Semitic beliefs formed along several strands from his upbringing, attitudes, and personal beliefs. A common stereotype at the time led some people to assume that Jews controlled the international banking system; that belief may have fed his anti-Jewish feelings. The publication of "The International Jew" caused an uproar. In some quarters, such as anti-immigrant and nativist groups, the series confirmed their own beliefs. Others were appalled by the series, published demands for a retraction, removed the paper from public libraries, and promoted a boycott of Ford automobiles. Some Ford dealers refused to carry the paper. Responding to this pressure, Ford halted publication of the anti-Jewish series in January 1922, only to start it up again less than a year later.
