June 6 1911.</p><p>Ross Hollingworth 25 and Curtis T. Day 29 escaped while working in a surveying party.</p><p>Hollingsworth a bookkeeper was serving a 13½- to 16-year term for forgery and larceny. Day</p><p>was serving a 10- to 15-year term for rape. Hollingsworth must have been captured because in</p><p>1914 his sentence was slightly reduced "on account of his unusual and valuable service in</p><p>drawing plans."
