This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Reina Sofia in 2003. Nicolas de Lekuona (1913-1937) was an enormously talented Spanish artist who worked in the media of photography and painting. His photomontages from the 1930's are reminiscent of Hannah Hoch, Heartfield et al. This catalog is the first serious attempt to rescue Lekuona from the obscurity that his death at age 24 condemned him. Bibliography. Not inscribed just signed and dated August 2000. Anna Lenz and her husband Gerhard were art collectors who formed an association with the Zero Group in the early 1960's. They had one of the largest collections of Zero Group material. This is a book of photographs of the artists in the group and their families and friends at gallery openings over the years.
