Jacques-Bénigne Bossuet (1627-1704) was a French bishop and theologian, renowned for his sermons and other addresses. There is foxing on the verso of the dust wrapper along with blue coloration from the book cloth. The front fold over is priced clipped on the lower right-hand corner and there is a crease running full length of the front fold over. There is also faint discolouration along the extreme edge of the dust wrapper. The dustwrapper is also somewhat "loose" around the book. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall. XIX 430 pages last 2 blank .
