This is a near fine softcover copy with virtually no wear. Appears unread. Spine not creased, binding tight. Completely clean inside and out. This catalog was prepared for the exhibition at the Art Galleries of the University of California at Santa Barbara in the winter of 1971. Still one of the best works on Lloyd Wright. Das Nietzsche-Archiv wurde 1894 von der Schwester des Philosophen gegründet und zog 1896 nach Weimar in die Humboldtstraße 36, wo es sich noch heute befindet. Harry Graf Kessler ließ das Haus, das er nach dem Tod Nietzsches erworben hatte, von Henry van de Velde umgestalten, zu dessen gelungensten Schöpfungen es zählt. Im Mittelpunkt des hier gezeigten Interieurs steht die von Max Klinger in Marmor ausgeführte Nietzsche-Herme.

Wilhelm Reischauer wurde zum Mäzen von Margarethe Geibel.
