Previously owned by a collector of African American art from the Harlem Renaissance period, with his name on the front endpaper dated 1988. An increasingly difficult book to find in decent condition. This is the Arno Press hardcover reprint of the 1943 original edition, now rare. 9" high X 6" wide, 272 pages.
