Questo esauriente excursus, sebbene limitato a 5 comuni della bassa Valle Esina, vuole essere uno stimolo a salvare queste memorie nonché un tentativo di catalogazione, una sorta di censimento degli esemplari delle edicole tuttora esistenti, della loro ubicazione e, dove possibile, della loro storia.
